First unveiled, in collaboration with William Ndatira, at Parsons University's Anna-Maria Kellen Gallery in New York in 2022, 'Genesis' delves into the intricate interplay between contemporary internet culture and the nebulous realm of the "cloud." Through my lens, both keen and contemplative, I grapple with a myriad of compelling themes, including faith, martyrdom, masculinity, gender roles, and desire.

In its concise yet evocative 7-minute duration, 'Genesis' presents viewers with what seems to be an all-encompassing perspective on the nuanced relationship between black hypervisibility and the pervasive overstimulation of modern media. Genesis is a testament to black-futurism, inviting contemplation and dialogue on the complexities of our digital age.
